Recruiting News:
- St. Mary Junior Forward Colin Doss will take visits to Olivet Nazarene and Gettysburg College in the coming months. Doss averaged 14 points and 4 rebounds this year for the Vikings.
- PRP Junior Point Guard James Taylor recently met with the Murray State coaching staff after Murray’s game at EKU. Taylor has been on campus at Murray multiple times already.
- Newport’s Donnie Miller was offered by Danville Community College. This is Miller’s second college offer.
- South Oldham Junior Luke Morrison received his first scholarship offer from Kentucky Wesleyan over the weekend.
- John Hardin Junior Trevon Harris took another visit to Belmont this past weekend.
- Top ranked Junior Jackson Sivills of McCracken County has been offered by Lipscomb University.
- Scott’s David Hunter was offered by UC Clermont.
Career Milestones:
- Central Hardin’s Jacob Hobbs became the school’s all time leading rebounder this season in addition to going over 1,000 career points back in December. Hobbs ended a great career for the Bruins last night and will play his next 4 seasons at Lipscomb.
- North Laurel’s Adam Sizemore recently cracked the Top 15 all time in career assists. He sits at 620 assists in his time for the Jaguars and will hope to extend his solid high school career over the next couple of weeks.
- Scott Senior Trey Meister scored his 1,000th career point in the district championship game last Friday night.
- Warren Central’s Kobe Brents logged his 1,000th career point last week. Brents played two seasons for Glasgow before transferring to Warren Central.
- Lewis County Junior Sam O’Keefe scored his 1,000th point last week.
- Brown Senior Guard Jai’rus Bibb had an extremely rare Quadruple Double against Evangel Christian. Bibb had 21 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals in an 82-61 win for the Bears.
- Lexington Christian Senior Forward Kyle Rode became the all-time leading scorer in Fayette County history. He topped current Western Kentucky star Taveion Hollingsworth.
- Bullitt Central Point Guard Aiden Terry set new records Central with the most made free throws in a single season and is now second in school history in career assists.
- Lincoln County Junior Center Riley Bodner logged a triple double in the district semifinals last week with 19 points, 14 rebounds and 11 blocks in Lincoln’s win over Boyle County.
- Madison Central Forward Isaiah Cozart already holds the career blocks record for the state but logged his 700th block of his career last week.
