Last night we took a look at the big boys in the Georgia High School basketball playoffs. Today, we breakdown classes 1A-3A. People really have no clue on how tough these small schools are. More importantly, some of the talent over the years that have come out of these small schools. Guys such as Tookie Brown( Morgan Co-Georgia Southern), Reggie Perry(Thomasville- Mississsippi State) are some of the guys that are playing in the college ranks.

FAVORITES

Morgan Co has been the powerhouse of 3A over the last 5 years. Led by Tyrin Lawrence and Alec Wooddard, Morgan Co could win it again. Don't be surprised Dawson Co meet them in the finals. The darkhorse out of this class is Franklin Co. Franklin Co received the at large spot in 3A because, Region 1-3A has four teams in the region. They only take 3 out of four teams from the region to automatically get playoff berths. The last spot from the region is at large berth. Franklin Co has made the most of their playoff run so far. They won both games on the road by defeating top seeded Central Macon , then the next week they defeated perennial powerhouse Beach. Watch put for Cedar Grove also.
