Tuesday’s Best

<p>Tuesday's action did not disappoint. There are some very tight area races that will come down to the wire. Athletes in every class continue stepping up their game when it is needed the most. Tuesday night saw some athletes go for monster double doubles, scorch the nets, surpass 1,000 points in a season, and break school records. Take a look at the best from Tuesday night.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Tommy Murr (Lindsey Lane): </strong>Murr continues to lead the state and nation in scoring. Last night, he finished with 54 points which pushed him over the 1,000 point mark in a season. Tommy currently sits at 4th all time in the state.</p> <p><strong>Anthony Brown (Midfield): </strong>Brown is one of the most underrated players in the 2019 class. Night after night, Anthony puts up big time double doubles. His motor never stops. Brown finished with 25 points and 24 rebounds.</p> <p><strong>Andre Bartlett (Mobile Christian): </strong>Bartlett scorched the nets last night. Seriously, he was on fire! Bartlett hit a school record 9 three pointers. For the game, Andre finished with 32 points.</p> <p><strong>CJ Melton (Hoover): </strong>Melton did it all for Hoover last night. His impact on both ends was crucial to securing the win. Melton finished with 24-14-6, and 6 steals.</p> <p><strong>Charlie Morrison (Lindsey Lane): </strong>Morrison stuffed the stat sheet in the win last night. Charlie finished with 16-9-7, and impacted the game defensively with 7 steals.</p> <p><strong>JP Robinson (Deshler): </strong>JP has been playing like a man on a mission. He definitely has a chip on his shoulder. Robinson finished with 20 points last night thanks largely to 5 triples in the 2nd quarter.</p> <p><strong>Kam Harris (Bessemer City): </strong>Harris continues to lead Bessemer City to the #1 spot in their area. Against Hueytown, Kam scored at will and set up his teammates for big shots. Harris finished with 32 points and 6 assists in the win.</p> <p><strong>Hayden Lamey (Briarwood): </strong>Lamey continues to be one of the most efficient players in the state. In a close loss to Woodlawn, Lamey finished with 22 points, 6 boards, and 2 assists.</p> <p><strong>BJ Comer (PCA): </strong>Comer was at it again last night.
