Where Do I Go: Jacksonville, NC
Liberty Christian Academy (215 Kinston Hwy, Richlands, NC 28574): LCA is a program that many may not know of at this point but they are on the rise slowly but surely being led by 2021 Guard Daymon Beckwith. Beckwith is a player who is ranked in the state for the 2021 class and has shown that regardless of who he is playing against, he can put up big time numbers. Exactly what level is still up in the air but at this point we see him as a D1 prospect.
Richlands HS (8100 Richlands Hwy, Richlands, NC 28574): 2019 6’2 Guard Colin Radcliffe is a transfer in from Northside HS and should have a big time season. He can score the ball at a very high level knocking down shots from deep and also has nice athletic ability. 2019 Guard Kershawn Williams had a solid season last year for Richlands at 8 PPG a game and seems like a player that could possibly play on the next level. He is a quick guard with a nice midrange game that seems to play the game with confidence.
White Oak HS (White Oak High1001 Piney Green Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28546) 2019 Guard Sam Venerable is a player that can play on the next level somewhere, he has good court vision and a nice overall feel for the game. 2019 Forward Antonio Carter will be a player that is called on to take on a larger role this season which we don’t see him having much of a problem doing, he is an athletic player with a good amount of upside to his game, both of these youngsters are smaller college prospects.
Jacksonville HS (1021 Henderson Dr, Jacksonville, NC 28540) As usual they will have quite a few players that will be playing football during the early months of the season so their open gyms will be a bit slim. 2020 Forward Emanuel Rodriguez is a player that should have a nice season for the Cardinals, he will be called on to have a larger role with the squad and he showed during the College Prospect Combine that he has double/double numbers type potential.
