The Post July All-WNC Team
First Team
Brandon Stone (B. Maze Elite)Caleb Mills (PSB Elite/Asheville Christian Academy)-Mills had the Nate Hinton of last season travel period. He picked up numerous high-major offers over the course of the summer and is starting to take official visits. He is set to visit Houston this Friday. Among the other offers Mills picked up was Wake Forest, Tennessee, Florida State, Marquette, Georgia Tech, Pitt, Cincinnati, College of Charleston, and VCU.
Ren Dyer (Team Loaded 704/North Buncombe HS)-The high-flying guard out of Weaverville, North Carolina had a great team camp session with North Buncombe, he received interest from Furman, Western Carolina, Mercer, and others. His toughness and his motor are keys to his games and why college coaches have taken notice.
D’Angelo Elliott (Mooresville Magic/Carolina Day)-Elliott proved every time he stepped on the floor that he has to be a Division One basketball recruit. He has the size, the length and the shooting ability to make an impact at the next level. He has picked up some interest from South Carolina State, The Citadel, some Division Two programs and has been working hard already in August for the upcoming season.
Brandon Stone (B. Maze Elite/Christ School)-The Chirst School rising senior is a legitimate threat at the stretch-four position. He can step out and knock down the long three-point shot or he can score off the dribble from the wing. He has received offers from St. Joe’s, Pitt, Siena, and a host of other schools. His play with B. Maze Elite only solidified that a big man that can space out the floor is in high-demand.
Justice Ajogbor (PSB Eilte/Christ School)-The big man from the continent of Africa has made his name known among college coaches in his brief time here. He is agile, can block shots and defend well, he is skilled with his back to the basket, still a little bit real but he is coming along nicely. He has offers from the SEC, Ivy League and other programs from around the country.
