Jiovanni Miles has proven to be an elite level talent in the state of Michigan. He was a key factor in Novi High School having the best season in its history. Miles should be considered one of the 5 best shooting guards in the 2019 class. He is smooth when attacking the basket and dangerous from deep. Miles has the ability to thrive in transition as well as from an offensive threat. He will definitely be a player for fans and college coaches to keep an eye on during spring and summer seasons. We recently caught up with Jiovanni Miles to talk about his high school season and the spring and summer to come.
Question: What do you think is the biggest strength of your game?
Jiovanni Miles: My IQ. I really have a thing for knowing where people are on the court and my shooting of course.
Question: How do you feel about you and your high school teams performance last season?
Jiovanni Miles: I thought we did really well, started off rough but we got rolling pretty quickly.
Question: What part of your game do you feel really developed over the high school season?
Jiovanni Miles: My passing and vision.
Question: What are your basketball goals this spring and summer?
Jiovanni Miles: To have a great season with my guys and play to the best of my abilities and get as many offers as I can.
Question: Is there an event you are really looking forward to?
Jiovanni Miles: Texas, because we really dropped the ball last year so just a little redemption.
Quetion: Who is the best player you have ever matched up against?
Jiovanni Miles: To be honest I don’t really know.
Question: What do you like the most about AAU/travel season?
Jiovanni Miles: Being able to hangout with my teammates and compete with my brothers.
Question: What professional player do you think your game resembles?
Jiovanni Miles: A little of JR Smith and Devin Booker back in Kentucky.
Question: Is there a teammate on your AAU/travel team that you are especially looking forward to playing with?
Jiovanni Miles: No I love playing with all of them.
Question: What do you think will be the key to your teams success this spring and summer?
Jiovanni Miles: Just playing as one and not being selfish and playing solid D and rebounding.
