MarJon Beauchamp chooses Garfield
2020 MarJon Beauchamp is at the top of his class and is hungry for more. Now that he is heading to Garfield the metro league better watch out.
Beauchamp is a special young talent. Standing at 6’5, the lanky combo guard can do it all, from scoring to using his length on the defensive end. Playing up a grade for Team Bradley’s 16u, Beauchamp is the top scorer on the team.
Entering his sophomore season, Beauchamp is focused on becoming a better player. He still looks like he’s growing and will get stronger overtime.
With his decision to attend Garfield High School and play for Brandon Roy (retired Portland trailblazers all star guard) will take his game to another level.
He will be playing along side other notable high school stars like, of J’aaron Brooks, Eddie Turner III and Ed Change (UW Commit). This will be a super team for the ages. With Brandon Roy at the helm leading this squad. There is already a sense that this will be the team to beat this year.
Playing for Nathan Hale, who is the #1 team in the country, Beauchamp had to sit out the first half of the season due to an injury. He soon recovered from his injury and went on to get his first experience of high school basketball in the metro league. He gained much experience playing alongside and against ranked prospects.
As of right now he has offers from UW, Eastern WA, Cal Poly, Seattle U, and Marquette.
