Rundown from Peach State, Peach Jam and adidas Gauntlet

Nike Peach State  Really liked 6'4 combo Isaiah Scott of 2019 Rebels. Scorer, good size, makes difficult passes look easy. Shot it well in my time seeing him at Peach State Showcase. 2019 combo Larenz Williams of New Loveleans showed athleticism, scoring ability and is a relentless rebounder. He is a scorer and has a great work ethic. Nike Peach Invitational Jalen Lecque showed why he is one of the top 2018 prospects in the class at PeachJam. High-major explosiveness with scoring ability, picked up an offer from Brad Underwood and Illinois. Adidas Gauntlet  Big guy Amanze Ngumezi of 1FamilyHoops had to see a rise in recruitment after his showing at AdidasFinale One of best post prospects at the event. Dontarius James of SC Supreme was tough all week. Strong rebounder with a soft touch and nice hands. Showed ability to also hit long ball.  Connor Crabtree and Trey McGowens had strong a strong week playing with Upward Stars. Crabtree has expanded his game, showed ability to knock down the long ball, attack the lane in transition, finish at the rim and rebound with the bigger post players. McGowens was impressive with his new team, The Upward Stars. He had a few high-flying dunks that sent the crowd into a frenzy. Peach Jam (Nike EYBL) The Oakland Soldiers took home the hardware at The Nike Peach Jam. This was their second championship and became the only team to have won two. James Akinjo was named MVP of the 2017 Peach Jam after averaging 18.8 points, 6.8 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. In the 16U division, Team CP3 out of Greensboro, North Carolina claimed the hardware. Kobe Langley was on a different level all week at the Peach. He was one of the best players on the floor every game. His ability to set up his teammates, score the ball and defend were key parts to his game all week. Wendell Moore was his usual self at Peach Jam. Showing the ability to finish at the rim with the best players in the country. He is best when he is used on the ball and is a proven winner, winning at every level he plays at.
