Grassroots: Saturday Big Shots – Rock Hill
Prep Hoops went to Big Shots – Rock Hill this weekend. The host for the event was Team United and was played at York Comprehensive HS. Here is some of the talent that stood out on Saturday.
Malachi Williams (2020) Goose Creek HS – Holy City Warriors
Williams 6’1 point guard plays very aggressive on the both ends of the floor. Williams is quick to hole and is always looking to steal the ball. Williams looked to attack the basket a lot here today. Williams had 11 points in the win over

Chris McGill (2020) Goose Creek HS – Holy City Warriors
McGill 5’8 guard for the Holy City Warriors. McGill a small point guard finds the open man and has the ability to set the table. McGill had six assists and three steals in the win over Charlotte Dragons.
Malik Tucker (2019) Cardinal Newman – South Carolina Kings 10th grade (Photo on the front)
Tucker 6’0 combo guard can shoot off the dribble and has the ability to get into the gaps. Tucker is a solid defender and gets out in transition. Tucker scored 15 points in the win over NC Eagles U16.
Peter Musci (2019) Chapin HS – South Carolina Kings 10th grade
Musci 6’1 small forward is a very confident basketball player on the floor. Musci can stroke it from any distance on the floor. Musci scored 14 points in the win over NC Eagle 16u.
Emari Melidor (2019) Airport HS – South Carolina Kings 10th grade
Melidor 5’8 lefty combo guard that is always looking to keep his teammates happy. Melidor is a very aggressive defender. Melidor scored nine points in the win over the Charlotte Dragons.
