Watch NOLA 23 vs. Bo McCaleb Select 17U: Grassroots HoopFest Championship

NOLA 23 proved to the top 17U team in this past weekend's Grassroots HoopFest tournament after taking down Bo McCaleb Select, 66-39, in the championship game at Landry-Walker in New Orleans.

NOLA 23 was only up 30-19 at halftime and that was after a 5-point swing that ended with Newman 2018 Riley Demps burying a 3-pointer at the buzzer on an assist from Karr 2018 Marc Bowie. Bo McCaleb Select hung around for a bit in the second half but NOLA 23 got hot from deep and eventually led by as much as 19.

The big lead led to some fun down the stretch as NOLA 23 went airborne in transition after misses or turnovers by Bo McCaleb Select. Check out the highlights from the game below and NOLA 23 also took home the 16U and 15U titles. Highlights of both games will be released in the coming days.
