Other than Kelvin Calhoun and Rob Brown, this list is littered with Division II, Division III, and NAIA level players.
The first three are who I believe could add the most to a college program. Otherwise, the names aren’t in any particular order.
Kelvin Calhoun — Lakewood St. Edward — 6’6”: Calhoun played for one of the best AAU teams in the state, King James Shooting Stars, and plays for one of the state powerhouses in St. Eds. The coaching has rubbed off on Calhoun, as he is all about playing his role. The strong inside force describes his game as “15 feet and in.” Calhoun has one offer, from Depaul in Chicago.
Rob Brown — Cincinnati Walnut Hills — 6’7”: Brown has the physical tools, with a nice frame and some explosiveness. He utilizes those assets on the glass and on the roll. Since returning, after having to sit out the first half of the season due to transfer regulations, he is averaging 7.5 points and 6.8 rebounds. Brown has an offer from Maryland Eastern Shore, Tiffin, and Urbana.
Armon Nasseri — Spire Institute — 6’6”: Nasseri’s game is patient. He specializes in putting the defender on his back in the low-post, and forcing them to flinch so he can take advantage. Nasseri has one offer from Shawnee State.
Quentin Jones — Columbus Northland — 6’8″
Devonte Ross — Lakota West — 6’5”
Albert Kalala — Cincinnati Withrow — 6’5”
Anthony Howell — Ursuline — 6’5”
Antonio McQueen — Warren John F. Kennedy — 6’6”
Arturo Sanchez — Andrews Osborne Academy — 6’6”
Kyle Matoszkia — Johnstown-Monroe — 6’5”
Adam Porter — Columbus Wellington — 6’6”
Dominick Volini — Bishop Ready — 6’5”
