Vashon at Tolton, Saturday, 4 p.m. – A late-season battle between two of the state’s top contenders. Vashon is one of the top teams to watch in Class 4 with junior guard Daniel Farris leading the way. Father Tolton is a leading contender for the Class 3, five-star recruits Michael Porter and Jontay Porter. (Prediction: Tolton)
Chaminade vs. CBC, Saturday, 7:30 p.m. – Lindenwood University will host the final regular-season “Tatum Bowl” as McDonald’s All-American Jayson Tatum leads the Red Devils against CBC, which is coached by his father, Justin Tatum. They could possibly meet one final time in the state quarterfinals.(Prediction: Chaminade).
Sikeston at Cape Girardeau Central, Friday, 7 p.m. – The two top teams in Southeast Missouri square off as No. 1 Sikeston takes its undefeated record to Cape Girardeau for this big showdown. Sikeston is led by sophomore sensation Fred Thatch, Jr. while Cape Central is led by SEMO football recruit Al Young. (Prediction: Sikeston).
Blue Springs at Blue Springs South, Friday, 7 p.m. – An excellent rivalry game that will fill up South’s gym on a cold Friday night. Blue Springs features a nice group of guards while South is led by Nebraska-Omaha recruit K.J. Robinson. (Prediction: Blue Springs South).
Park Hill South at Park Hill, Friday, 7 p.m. – Another exciting district rivalry game on tap in the Kansas City area on Friday night. South is led by 6’7″ senior forward Ryan Welty while Park Hill features seniors Tanner Morrison, Brandon Townsell and Tanner Zeil. (Prediction: Park Hill)
Nixa at Republic, Friday, 7 p.m. – An excellent match-up between two of the top teams in Southwest Missour, both with 17 wins. Nixa features the strong post play of senior Chase Allen while Republic is led by talented junior guard Treydon Rackley. (Prediction: Republic)
Fort Zumwalt North at Fort Zumwalt South, Friday, 7 p.m. – One of the state’s most competitive rivalries is between these district foes. In recent years, their games have been decided either in overtime or at the buzzer. North won the first meeting in January on a last-second shot by senior Austin Schwert. (Prediction: Fort Zumwalt South)
Whitfield at Waynesville, Friday, 7 p.m. – An interesting late-season non-conference matchup. Whitfield is a Class 3 contender, led by talented 6’4″ sophomore Torrence Watson. Waynesville counters with an excellent group of veteran guards. (Prediction: Waynesville).
