Raytown vs. Liberty North, 7:30 p.m. – A big showdown for the leadership of the KC Suburban Conference White Division as both teams are undefeated in league play. Raytown is 15-3 while Liberty North is 14-3. (Prediction: Liberty North)
K.C. O’Hara at Nevada, 7:30 p.m. – A West Central Conference showdown between two of the league’s top teams. O’Hara is led by stellar senior guard Dez McDaniel while Nevada has one of the state’s top sophomores in 6’5″ Clay Gayman. (Prediction: O’Hara).
St. Mary’s at Borgia, 6:45 p.m. – A key conference game in the Archdiocesan Athletic Association. St. Mary’s took the first matchup by 22 points in early December. Winning at Borgia will be a more difficult task. (Prediction: Borgia)
Poplar Bluff at Sikeston, 7 p.m. – An excellent SEMO Conference matchup featuring some of the state’s top underclassmen. Undefeated Sikeston is led by sophomore stud Fred Thatch while Poplar Bluff feature junior Willie Lucas and nationally-ranked freshman Marcedus Leech. (Prediction: Sikeston)
Hartville vs. Iberia, 2:30 p.m. – These two top five Class 2 teams will meet in Saturday’s CMH Shootout in Bolivar. Hartville is currently 15-4 and ranked No. 1 in the state while 17-3 Iberia is ranked No. 5. (Prediction: Iberia)
Lee’s Summit at Blue Springs South, 7 p.m. – A terrific matchup featuring two of the state’s top senior point guards. Undefeated Lee’s Summit is led by Northern Kentucky signee Blake Spellman while Blue Springs South is paced by Nebraska-Omaha signee K.J. Robinson. (Prediction: Lee’s Summit)
Miller Career Academy vs. Northwest Academy at Vashon, 6 p.m. – A big Public High League showdown between two teams on the rise. Career Academy is currently on an eight-game winning streak, but Northwest has the size and guard play to compete. (Prediction: Miller Career Acadmey).
Father Tolton vs. Southern Boone – The championship of the Southern Boone Tournament is one the line on Saturday evening. Tolton is led by its five-star recruits in 6’9″ junior Michael Porter, Jr. and 6’10” sophomore Jontay Porter while host Southern Boone is currently 16-1. (Prediction: Tolton Catholic)
Hayti vs. South Pemiscot, 8:30 p.m. – The championship of the Bootheel Conference Tournament is on the line after these two teams pulled off big upsets in the semifinals. (Prediction: South Pemiscot)
New Franklin vs. Salisbury, 7 p.m. – A showdown between two excellent teams who could meet again in the Class 2 district championship game later this month. (Prediction: Salisbury).
Winston at Hardin Central, 7 p.m. – A battle between two of the top ranked Class 1 teams in the state. Winston is 17-0 and ranked No. 2 while Hardin Central is 13-4 and ranked No. 10. (Prediction: Winston)
