As we continue our All-State previews we look at Class C where last year's MVP was almost a given and is now headed to Grambling for college. The entire first team from last season was made up of seniors so the race is wide open.
MVP: Kolby Friday; Senior G/F; Elizabeth
The MVP race should be a good one and is honestly wide open this season. Friday will be a leader for Elizabeth and provides everything a team in Class C could want. With the ability to score from inside or out, he's sure be fill up the stat sheet on the offensive end. With his size in this class, he'll be able to put up big time rebound numbers as well. Others to consider include Lashard Powell from Athlanta and Donal Johnson III from Jehovah-Jireh since Camren Hare has moved on from Class C to Hamilton Christian in 1A.
