We'll take a look at who is still available in the frontcourt today. There is a bundle of talent for all different levels but here are the top 5 players and a little about them.
Cam Lard 6’9 Foward/Center Landry-Walker
Lard is nationally ranked and one of the best defensive bigs around. He's strong and rebounds at a very high level. His recent move to Landry-Walker means he'll get the chance to play with a large number of high level talent including Lamar Peters (Mississippi State commit). The Bulldogs are certainly one of the schools he's looking at.
Jalen Johnson 6’7 Forward University High
Johnson is a long left handed forward who can play any position from the two to the four depending on the style. He shoots it well and finishes around the rim at a high level. This summer with the Arkansas Wings he really showed off his ability and willingness to defend. He has offers from FIU, Southern, and ULL.
Adrio Bailey 6’7 Foward Lakeview
Adrio Bailey is an explosive athlete who has showed off his ability to shoot the last few summers as well. He'll be a great fit at either forward position and really relishes in the opportunity to defend other players. That's a big reason that he'll be visiting Arkansas on October 24th officially. He also has officials set up to Wichita State and La Tech.
Khalea Turner 6’9 Forward/Center Helen Cox
Khalea Turner is at Helen Cox this year and is a very high IQ player in the frontcourt. He can play the high post or low post and will bring a much needed big body to a tough district. Turner will play with Roydell Brown (who will be on the wings list) this coming year to make a very tough duo. Once a top 25 ranked player, Turner will need to prove he's over his injuries.
Garrick Green 6’6 Forward Scotlandville
Green is someone who will possibly transition to the three at the next level but is a post player right now. He has the ability to step out and hit the three ball with consistency but will need to improve his footwork defensively and his ball handling on offense to make the transition. He will be a key cog for Scotlandville this year and holds a SELU offer.
