UPCOMING SEASON
Current Roster Makeup: This team is trying to right the ship from last season when they only won nine games. However, they did lose a lot from their roster including Matt Clements and Anthony Cerbone. The good news is they return their best group in some time with Grant Pedigo, Jimmy Weinke, and Marcus Burk. Antoyne Jackson provides some size as he returns back to FC. Mason Hardimon's transfer gives them quality depth at guard along with Weinke and Burk. Watch for Grant Pedigo to have a big year as a inside-out forward. He's playing football and that will help bulk him up and if this summer was any indication, he should really become a bigger name in the area. They have a solid starting five and as the season goes along they will look for another guy or two to step up but for the Sectional and area, this is one of the best teams at the one through five.
2015-16 Season Outlook: Last season could be a bit of an improvement but the reality is they only started getting going towards the end of the year. If they continue that push into this season they should be pretty good. Marcus Burk gives them a big time scorer with plenty of pieces around him that can contribute. The Sectional got a little tougher with the addition of Martinsville and it looks like them and Franklin Central should be the top two. Best look this season is a Sectional win and a considerable better regular season record which should be very attainable.
