Columbus East guard Parker Chitty is one of them. He took a visit to Eastern Kentucky this weekend and wound up coming off the board.
The 6'2 lead guard is one of the more reliable options in the state with a background that should allow him to play above this skill level. His father, Brent Chitty, is the head coach at Columbus East and you can see Parker pick up a lot of things on the mental side of the ball that really have allowed him to be a good point guard.
Parker isn't the fastest guy on the court but he's able to move around and be methodical. He loves to draw contact and get to the line which allows him to keep his point totals up in games where sometimes he might be overmatched in other areas. He's a solid jump shooter and physically he is ready to go.
Chitty had offers from Bellarmine and Saint Francis (IN) as well but made the call this weekend following a visit to Richmond, Kentucky campus.
